I’m making every effort at work, day in and day out, to become a reliable employee.

I decided to join JAFS because I strongly wanted to do fueling work for a company with a 90% share of fueling aircraft at Narita International Airport, which has the largest number of international flights in Japan. my principal duties are assisting older members and monitoring safety during fueling. I am still thrilled to watch the aircraft I just served take off. To become able to perform fueling safely alone, I am gaining experience day by day. In the future, I hope I’ll be recognized as a reliable and thoughtful member of staff.

Always smiling and performing safe and secure fueling services.

Unlike other ground handling (ground support) operations, into-plane fueling service is usually performed by one person from beginning to end. As I have to do everything by myself, but the heavier the burden of responsibility, the greater the feeling of accomplishment. As I have a small build and it was difficult for me to connect the fuel hose to A380 (a huge aircraft). I needed help from older staff to get the hang of it, but now I can complete the work by myself. I was so pleased when I could attach the delivery nozzle for the first time. I think I have developed my skills by overcoming the difficulties. Always smiling and remembering how I felt at the beginning, I want to perform safe and secure fueling services.

The maintenance of fueling vehicles is fascinating precisely
because they are specially designed.

Analyze the cause of failure from many directions to solve the problem.

I decided to join the company as I was interested in how fuel is loaded in an aircraft and in the equipment and setup used.
Normally my work is related to periodic inspection, maintenance and modification of fueling vehicles in the maintenance shop at the airport. I am also involved in designing fueling equipment and supervising the production. As fueling vehicles have a very complicated structure, it is usually hard to identify the cause of failures.
I check every possible cause by referring to the design drawings, and when I successfully identify the cause and complete the repair by myself, I find my job challenging and interesting.
I intend to keep observing matters from many different directions without becoming a slave to convention in the future.

Will always handle fuels seriously to ensure safe aircraft operation. always.

I am in charge of quality control and receiving aviation fuel at the Chiba Works. Oil tankers carry the fuel from refineries. As fuel is essential for the operation of aircraft, it is crucial to quickly and safely unload the fuel, while always ensuring quality control. I repeatedly examine the fuel before unloading from the tankers and after storage in tanks here to confirm that they are adequate for aircraft. The job has a heavy responsibility, but when I imagine the airplanes carrying this fuel and taking off after I have faultlessly completed my series of tasks, I realize that this work was a good choice.
I will continue to handle fuels seriously as part of the team for ensuring the safe operation of aircraft.
